I like to wear simple things with a lot of accessories, or bright colours with minimal accessories. I love colour and prints. Nothing makes me happier than coordinating my outfits with appropriate accessories.<br /><br />What inspires your style?<br />Honestly, I just like to looking good and well put together. My mom is a real fashionista, so she helped me to be interested in clothing at a young age, so she has inspired my style too. <br /><br />Favourite Ottawa stores?<br />It’s kind of random, but I like the Bay for work and casual. They have great brands like Kenzie, Browns, Vera Moda, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, etc...and I like the one-stop shop and the great sales. How would you describe your style?<br /><br />I've never really felt like I've had a particular style since I often just wear what I feel looks awesome for the day, but I do tend to lean towards vintage, pinup, metal and second-hand. I'm an eclectic kind of person so it's often hard to pick just one that matches my personality.<br /><br />2. What are you inspired by? Who are your style icons?<br /><br />Definitely fearless rocker women such as Courtney Love, Gwen Stefani (c. 1995), Poly Styrene from the X-Ray Spex and Siouxie Sioux. I've loved their unapologetic outspokenness as well as their daring and experimental fashion choices. I'm also inspired by Dita Von Teese's take on 40s glamour. Seeing her look so stunning in film noir-inspired dresses reminds me of how flattering the clothing is on all body types, while revealing little and leaving a bit to the imagination!<br /><br />3. What is your favourite Ottawa store? Favourite Ottawa restaurant or bar/club?<br /> <br />My favourite Ottawa store is Ragtime–a true treasure trove of vintage clothing.
